Works great, mower is lighter and faster. Also, the lithium battery charges quickly and holds the charge over time. Without the YouTube video I found I never would have tried it. Saved my mower from a long series of lead-acid replacements.

This was the perfect lithium upgrade for my Ryobi 300. Everything needed in one kit. I can mow for a few hours before needing to recharge. Also, the shipping was super fast. I ordered Sunday evening and it was delivered Tuesday morning!

After 2 full sets of lead acid battery replacements in 3 years - a known issue that Ryobi continues to fail to address - I was faced with weak & dying batteries again in April. I was not going to replace the lead batteries a third time - I would rather set the mower ablaze and watch it burn. I found this complete lithium replacement kit that had everything needed to fix my mower once and for all. I am NOT mechanically inclined and I was a bit nervous, but I followed the palmetto battery pros you tube video step by step and in under 3 hours I had what I consider to be a brand new mower. I spent $22 from Amazon for tools I needed - a metal multi tool blade ($6) to modify the battery tray, a 2 1/16" hole saw ($12) to install the new battery gauge and a set of heat shrink ring terminals ($4). Secured the battery to mower with zip ties. Have cut the 3/4 acre lawn 3 times already and it just barely uses 35% of the battery's charge. Can charge back to fill in under 30 minutes. I always loved this mower, but hated its crappy lead battery life - now I have a new lithium setup with an 11 year warranty from Epoch.

Seems like an excellent product, works well so far, pretty easy install. Mower actually seems to work better, probably took 100+ pounds off total weight. No instructions, watch video from palmetto batteries. Use imagination on getting the battery strapped down. First meter sent did not work, they immediately sent replacement.

Charged the first day, next time I checked battery flashing red light, on off button stopped flashing but got an error code in red. Battery doesn't charge not sure if it over charged and burnt up battery or not.
